Analysis of China's Sanitary Ware Exports in 2022

In 2022, China's total export of hardware and plastic bathroom products will be US.786 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.89%. The annual export trade situation presents the following characteristics:

1. Except for the shower room, the export volume of other hardware and plastic bathroom products in my country has decreased by about 10% compared with last year.
2. Affected by the rising cost of hardware and other raw materials, the export unit price of hardware and plastic bathroom products has increased year-on-year, ranging from 4% to 12%.
3. Except for the shower room with rising export volume and water tank accessories with the largest increase in export unit price, the export value of other types of products (faucets, plastic bathtubs, toilet covers) declined year-on-year.

Faucet is the largest export category of hardware and plastic bathroom products, and its annual export volume accounts for more than half of the total export volume of the five categories of products. Therefore, the trend of faucet's export volume curve has the greatest impact on the overall export volume curve of the hardware and plastic bathroom plate, and also presents similar characteristics. From 2015 to 2022, China's faucet export volume and export volume showed an overall growth trend, reaching the best level in recent years in 2021, and the export volume and export volume decreased in 2022.

In 2022, the export volume of faucets was 837 million sets, a year-on-year decrease of 10.79%, and the export volume was 6.317 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 4.19%, with a relatively significant decline.
According to the statistics of export volume, in 2022, the top ten destination countries of China's faucet exports are the United States, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Russian Federation, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, India, Vietnam, Germany, and Turkey. The faucets flowing to the top ten countries account for 47% of China's total export volume, and the concentration ratio is 1 percentage point higher than that in 2021. Compared with 2021, the proportion of faucets exported to the United States decreased by 2 percentage points, and the market share of the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates also increased.

According to the statistics of export volume, in 2022, the faucets exported by China mainly came from Zhejiang Province, Fujian Province, Guangdong Province, Shanghai City and Jiangsu Province. The total export volume of the five provinces accounted for 91% of the total export volume of the country, and the concentration was basically the same as that of 2021. The export share of Zhejiang Province and Fujian Province, which ranked the top two, increased by 2 and 1 percentage points respectively compared with 2021, and the head advantage was further expanded.
